  • Promote and create work and training opportunities

Our Aims

The Archaeological Woodworking Network goal is to advance knowledge and understanding amongst researchers working on the use of wood for technological purposes in the archaeological record.

Recent News

Many thanks to The University of Reading School of Archaeology, Geography and Environmental Science for providing a small grant enabling the first in-person meeting by the network co-organisers. During three days in Barcelona we agreed the steps to take to establish the network, aquire funding and organise our first events.
